What Not to Do With Bad Credit Auto Loans
Bad credit auto loans happen when a subprime borrower applies for an auto loan with limited or bad credit. The difference between a bad credit auto loan versus an auto loan is the interest rate. Bad credit auto loans tend to come with higher interest rates, since you are a higher risk to the lender. So what can you do to get out of your bad credit auto loan and into a better auto loan rate? Follow these steps:
1) Make payments on time. Every time you make a payment on time, your credit score improves and qualifies you for a better auto loan interest rate. Keep paying off your bad credit auto loan consistently, and in a few months talk to your lender about readjusting your interest rate or with another lender about refinancing the auto loan.

2) If the lender asks you to close a few of your credit accounts to get a better interest rate on your bad credit auto loan, go ahead and do so. Otherwise, try to avoid closing accounts; this in fact hurts your credit score.

3) While paying off your bad credit auto loan, try to avoid opening new accounts or consolidating all your credit card balances onto one card. This means transferring balances from high-limit cards and low-limit cards onto one single card. This will hurt your credit score and efforts to refinance your bad credit auto loan.

4) Do not apply for more credit to increase your available credit. Although having more available credit to debt is a great way to increase your credit score, you are just adding to the problem. Instead of getting more credit, pay off your existing debt. This will increase your credit score and help you get a better interest rate on your bad credit auto loan.

How to Test Drive a Navigation System
Inexpensive portable navigation systems and even cheaper smartphone nav applications are making the pricey in-dash systems offered by automakers less attractive to many consumers. But some people prefer in-dash systems because of their larger screens and because they offer more features. Plus, you never have to worry about forgetting an in-dash system at home. Finally, prices for in-dash systems are starting to drop.
 Bluetooth Basics
Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows two compatible devices to communicate. In the car, it lets you operate a mobile phone "hands-free," meaning you don't have to hold the device while making or taking a call or performing such functions as accessing the phone's address book. (Of course, you have to use your hands to operate certain Bluetooth features via the vehicle's controls.)
Audio-System Basics
Automotive sound systems are more complex now that portable media players, hard-disk drives and smartphones are along for the ride. But the basic radio/speaker setup hasn't drastically changed, even though more speakers and more amplifier power have been added over the years.

Keep credit in mind when managing finances
Responsible consumers tend to have all their affairs in order – a steady income, plenty of savings and perhaps even an investment or two on the side. While these things are all positive, they ultimately won't get you approved for an auto loan – for that, you need credit.

There are certain people who seem to have X-ray vision, who can look at a business and see things that are invisible to other people. I bring this up because I have a friend who spotted something about used cars that I have never heard addressed by anyone else.
